Colopaix System

The concept is simple: If your stoma cannot vibrate, it cannot make significant noise. This Patent Pending system uses a very soft foam which is gently pressed against your stoma thereby preventing vibration and unwanted noises from emanating.
Silencing Band
The silencing band works by performing two major functions:
The first that it keeps a gentle but continuous pressure against the foam discs which prevents unwanted noise.
The second function is that it works to help secure the bag in place to make things like exercising, intimacy and daily life generally easier and more secure. Additionally, the band will enable to user to wear almost any outfit without anyone else being able to see the system.
Comfort and Wearability
Obviously, any pressure against your stoma can lead to discomfort. This system is unique in that the self-adhesive pads will stay in place and simply rolling the band off the stoma ends the pressure.
Many folks find they can comfortably tolerate his system all day, however, if you're simply looking to make it through a meeting, enjoy a nice meal or even regain some peace during intimacy, it can be worn as long or short as desired.
Once I was thrown into this world, much like you I was in complete disbelief that there weren't any truly effective options for controlling the noises from the Stoma. The options I could find were both highly ineffective, impractical and unbelievably expensive. I put my engineering background to use and developed a simple and effective solution and have worked since to develop in in a manner that will keep it affordable for all of my fellow ostomates.
